Kadarganj pukhta (कादरगंज पुख्ता)( قادارگنج پختا ) is a city and a village in Kasganj District and the Al zone in the Aligarh state Uttar PradeshIndia.

Patiyali is a town and a nagar panchayat in Kasganj District in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It is located on the banks of River Ganga. It is the birthplace of Amir Khusrau (1253-1325 CE). Patiyali is a constituency of District Kasganj. Member of Legislative Assembly from Patiyali is Mamtesh Shakya of BJP. The longest bridge of Uttar Pradesh has been constructed over the Ganga (at Kadarganj). This new bridge opened shortest route between Agra and Bareilly via Etah-Ganjdundwara-Kadarganj-Budaun. About hundred years ago the river Ganges flowed thorough Patiyali Quila. Nowadays it is 10 km away at Qadarganj. Patiyali is a centre of specific life style, mannerism, thinking, traditions, historical past and ideology. People of different religions reside together and their social,cultural financial and religious life styles influenced each other. Hindu and Muslims jointly celebrate the festivals of Holi, Eid and Diwali. The Khadi work of Ganjdundwara is famous all over the country. DEMOGRAPHICS

Kadarganj pukhta had a population of 03,245. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Kadarganj pukhta has an average literacy rate of 44%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 51%, and female literacy is 38%. In Kadarganj pukhta, 18% of the population is under 6 years of age. National river Ganges flows around 15 km away in NE direction and well connected via road. One of the longest bridge has been constructed over the Ganga (at Ganjdundwara) which is about 15 km from village. This new bridge opened shortest route between Agra and Bareilly via Etah-Ganjdundwara-Kadarganj-Badaun, this will open the great facilities and opportunities to the nearby villagers.

AGRICULTURE

Major agricultural products are wheat, rice, paddy, sugarcane, guava and menthol. Kadarganj pukhta is the largest producer of wheat in UP, II largest of sugarcane and potatoes. It is the leading producer of menthol in the country. The soil is very fertile due to tarai, because kadarganj pikhta is on the bank of the Ganges; the Ganges flows 10 km in the district. Guava and menthol are the major exporting products. Kadarganj pukhta gives 40% of total menthol export of India.
